Heroes Of Tomorrow EP Review
By : Jointz
Frank Casino has dropped an EP titled Heroes Of Tomorrow. This is supposedly ahead of the album he has been working on. The 4-track EP takes less than 15 minutes to spin and could be a good indicator of where Frank Casino is at with his style and music overall.
As could be expected, H.O.T a trap EP and spots flex raps throughout. Frank expresses growth and a certain kind of comfort that makes the EP enjoyable… leaving it to feel a bit short, which is all good in setting up anticipation for the album.
When it comes to trap, Frank gets it right with his abrupt-line flow. A style he feels at home with it. This is true for the most part even though some lines come off as a complete miss and somewhat lazy effort with the pen. For example, the line on Sudden that says “Started
flipping like a flop”. Reminds me of the other cat that said “So I take a little cham for the pain”.
The beat selection is top notch and the floss talk matches. The versatility in sound can be credited to a variety of names on production. The beat on Here We Are stands out as it’s different from the others. As for favourite picks Black Metalic and Sudden take it.
The EP was received seemingly well by the online community, with some concerns over the fan-favourite Sudden which bares some similarities to an existing song. Frank did put this to rest by addressing it in a tweet.
The EP can be found on all major music outlets.
